Right, lets get things in order here,.... The Panther Owners Club, THE best one make club in the world? , well I think so, but then again, I am slightly biased!!

We've been invloved with the club since 1987, and active since about 1989, we served 18 months as regalia sec's, and the last 14 years as membership sec's. It does take up a lot of our time , but on the whole it's worth it. Our friends in the POC are our biggest source of socialising with rallies and gatherings most of the year , and of course we've been on holiday to Ireland, Holland, Germany, France, and most bits of England with the club . We've been fed, watered, and put up for the night by many folk aroud the country , and , of course we've done the same.
If you want more info on the Panther Owners Club, please read on:-. Membership costs £17.00 for the U.K., £21.00 for Europe, and £25.00 for the rest of the world .We are a family oriented club, and basically if you have a family then they are welcome as members to events etc. as well. But for an additional payment of £4.00 p.a., a named partner can vote at the AGM. Any foreign currency, please add £10 to cover daylight robbery, sorry, bank charges. When you join the club you will receive your badge, membership card and a full lists of all spares, and regalia that the club offers. Also, please note , due to our inability to get liability insurance , we are unable to offer spares direct to North America at the moment.
Membership is open to those who own a machine of the Panther or P&M marque or anyone who is interested but does not own such a machine (though it's a good way of buying a Panther. Most members advertise their Panthers in the club magazine first) .The subscription entitles you to 12 issues of “Sloper", the clubs monthly magazine and access to the facilities run by fellow members. These include: -
1) A separate spares scheme which organises the purchase and manufacture of Heavyweight engine and gearbox parts, Heavyweight cycle parts and lightweight parts (these include the Villiers engined Panthers).
2) A library, which offers a wealth of Panther and P&M, related information, including advice on colour schemes and other details.
3) A registry of Machines owned by club members, access to original factory despatch books with details of engine numbers, plus a database listing over 6000 original factory drawings. We also have a D.V.L.A. Liaison officer (for reclaiming old reg' no's, etc).
4) Use of the VMCC affiliated insurance scheme.
5) A regalia service offering T-shirts, badges, etc, high quality copies of original P&M handbooks, plus the clubs own well illustrated workshop manual, covering the heavyweight engines.
6) Cables and chains spares for all models
These facilities are open to members only, hence a good reason to join.
The club also organises local meetings and camping weekends.
